Message from Pam
Hi everybody and welcome! Spring is here (at least according to the calendar)!
There’s a bunch of “new” news! First, all of the songs from my first CD, “Open Hands,” are available for download from ITunes and many other sites. Click here for the links. (I recently learned that my songs were downloaded on the same day through ITunes US, ITunes UK, ITunes Europe, and ITunes Australia!)
You can now order a personalized version of Emily   (click here for details)
or The Good Humor Man (click here for details).
The Needham Channel’s 5-minute program on my music was picked up by the Wellesley Channel as well. We’re hoping to upload a portion of the interview to this site sometime soon.
I’m spending most of my time recording my second CD (tentatively entitled “Boomerang,” but don’t hold me to it) as well as teaching songwriting workshops, which I truly love. For more info about either project, just drop me a note at Pam@PamSteinfeld.com.
There are two large concerts scheduled for the spring. The first is on Sunday, March 19th at the Temple Beth Israel Coffeehouse. This coffeehouse opened last year, to much fanfare in the Boston Globe. Located at 25 Harvard Street in Waltham, the temple is behind the Hannaford supermarket, off Main Street in Waltham. Parking is behind the temple, on the street, and in the supermarket lot. This is a co-bill with singer/songwriter Lisa Doyle and admission is $10.
In typical, required, coffeehouse fashion, there were will be home-baked desserts, coffee, tea and cold drinks available.
You can make reservations by calling Marsha at 781-893-5754 or the temple at 894-5146 or email email@example.com.
The second concert is on Friday, April 7th at the Northpointe Cultural Arts Center in Valatie, NY, near the Masssachusetts state line. Northpointe is a major arts center, with theatre, art exhibits, a wide range of musical concerts, and children’s programs. This is my first time there and I’m really looking forward to it. I’m doing a solo show, of 2 50-minute sets.
Supper starts at 7 pm, concert at 8 pm. Admission is $10. For more information, please call Northpointe at (518) 758 - 9234.
So that’s the news for now - other than the fact that I went skiing for the first time in over 15 years. I shall return.
